Motorised Device type amf panels include electrical operated isolators as their switching devices. The main difference between this type of amf panel and the others is that the motorised device is two back to back isolators mechanically and electrically interlocked driven by a side mounted motor. They offer mechanically held switches (even when the supply has been removed) and a higher range than the contactor type. The devices range from 1250 Amps to 3150 Amp. The motorised devices can be triple pole or four pole for three phase three wire systems and three phase four wire systems respectively.
